On Tuesday Dec 9th Swapnil Daxini defended his PhD dissertation. The examiners were deeply impressed with the high quality and large scope of his work ; they were also under scrutiny by a large group of friends who supported Swapnil throughout his defense.
As usual the group then proceeded to a celebration at the graduate house and the bestowing of the “Doctor of Lasers” sash!
